John Brooker

John’s career commenced with service in the RAF.

He joined Visa International in 1985 as a junior manager. He became a Senior Vice President in 1996, with experience of innovating and transforming services at all levels of management.

Examples include: Leading the business development and implementation of the Visa ATM network; conceiving and developing the Visa Business School with his team; product development, including internet and electronic banking services; centralising customer support from across Europe in to a London centre with the help of much of the organisation.

He has run Yes! And… since 2001. As an international meeting facilitator he specialises in coaching teams to:

• Make the most of their opportunities through innovative thinking, using his creative problem solving based Inn8 Approach and Model
• Transform themselves and the organisation using his Solutions Focus based 2/10 Team Transformation Approach

As well as in the UK, John works regularly in Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North and Sub Saharan Africa. He has also worked in China for clients.

John is renowned for facilitating multi cultural teams, having over 25 years experience working in multicultural environments. He is regularly complimented on his clear and understandable English, a small but very important aspect when working with teams.

Since 1998 he has been a tutor for the Open University Business School’s Master’s level module, ‘Creativity, Innovation and Change’ programme and has run over thirty residential courses with students from many countries.

John’s qualifications include: Master of Business Administration; Kaizen Black Belt Facilitator; Solutions Focus Professional Facilitator and Coach; NLP Business Practitioner; Basadur CPS Facilitator; Grinder’s Group Mastery; Buzan Certified Mind Mapping Facilitator.

John is a Full Member and Board Member of the international Association for Quality Development of Solution Focused Consulting and Training (SFCT).
